Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards
Keppel Land bagged the Merit Award in the Services category for its excellence in corporate environmental leadership at an awards ceremony in August 2010.
The judges were impressed by Ocean Financial Centre’s green features which can help achieve overall energy savings of 35%, save 42 million litres of water which is equivalent to the amount need to fill 21 Olympic-size swimming pools, as well as save more than 10,000 tress annually through reduction in paper usage. Innovation green features and measures include harvesting rain water for irrigation of rooftop gardens, recycling of condensate for the cooling tower, and the use of water-efficient tap fittings and paper recycling chute.
ASEAN Energy Awards
Keppel Land development, Hotel Sedona Manado in Indonesia, was recognised for its proactive and innovative environmentally responsible management practices. The hotel clinched the first runner-place in the ASEAN Best Practice Competition for Energy Management in Building and Industry(Small and Medium category).
This award comes shortly after the hotel was lauded for Best in Green and Environment Practices by The Government of North Sulawesi in June 2010.
ACCA Singapore Awards for Sustainability Reporting
Keppel Land achieved the Merit Award at the Singapore Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2008 by the Association for Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The Company emerged as a finalist in the formerly named ACCA Singapore Environmental and Social Reporting Awards (SESRA)in 2005, 2007 and 2008. The Award recognises organisations which report and disclose environmental, social or full sustainable information. It aims to encourage the uptake of environmental, social and/or sustainability reporting and raise awareness of corporate transparency issues and increase accountability for responsiveness to stakeholder.
Cityscape Asia Real Estate Awards - Best Green Development (Future) Award

Ocean Financial Centre has won the Best Green Development (Future) Award in the 2009 Cityscape Asia Real Estate Awards. An annual networking event attended by major international investors, property developers, leading architects and designers, key organisations and government authorities that have an interest in South East Asia and the surrounding Pacific Rim countries, the awards seek to recognise and reward Asia's real estate industry professionals and companies that have made significant contributions to Asia's progress in the real estate sector. Cityscape Asia 2009 is supported by FIABCI, URA and REDAS.

Judged by a panel of international judges, projects under the Best Green Development category were judged on practices that reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment by efficiently using energy, water, and other resources, protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity and reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Award
Ocean Financial Centre is the first high-rise office building to be conferred the prestigious Platinum Level LEED for CS pre-certification (2009). The LEED system encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.
To achieve a LEED Platinum rating, the building must address the following criteria: site sustainability, efficiency with water, energy, atmosphere, materials, resources, indoor environmental quality, design innovation and regional priority.
BCA Green Mark Awards

The Green Mark Award scheme operated by Singapore's Building and Construction Authority (BCA) rates buildings for their environmental impact and performance. It takes into account energy and water efficiency, indoor environment quality, building management and environmental innovation, and serves as a benchmark which incorporates internationally-recognised best practices in environmental design and performance.
Since the introduction of the BCA Green Mark Awards in 2005, Keppel Land has attained 12 accolades, including the highest Green Mark Platinum for Ocean Financial Centre. The Green Mark Platinum is awarded to exemplary green projects that demonstrate 30% energy and water savings, as well as environmentally sustainable building practices and innovative green features.

Marina at Keppel Bay has achieved the Clean Marina Award from the Marina Industries Association of Australia.
Marina at Keppel Bay is the first and only marina in Asia to be awarded a 'Clean Marina' status under the Clean Marinas Australia Programme, a voluntary accreditation system to promote clean environmental practices in the marina industry business.

Caribbean at Keppel Bay - Landscape Industry Association of Singapore (LIAS) Awards of Excellence

Keppel Land's luxury waterfront condominium, Caribbean at Keppel Bay, which is home to some 2,200 shrubs and 800 trees, was bestowed two awards in the Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) Awards of Excellence 2006. It received the Gold Award in the Implementation - Residential category for the quality of plant materials used, installation techniques and craftsmanship. It also bagged the Silver Award in the Maintenance - Residential category for the condition of the plants and cleanliness of the site.

"Best in Class" Status, Environmental and Social Performance - Storebrand SRI

Keppel Land attained "Best in Class" status in 2005 by leading Scandinavian financial institution Storebrand for leading environmental and social performance.
Storebrand is a pioneer in the assessment of corporate responsibility of investment targets and one of the leading Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) companies in the world. It gives the 'Best in Class' recognition as a sign of social qualification to companies it has found in its analyses to be investment targets that best bear their environmental and social responsibility. The recipients qualify as Storebrand's SRI investment targets.
